Where to go when you hear a code outside of GP???

1. to KP (Klingenstein Pavillion) – Start at the MC level, walk towards MRI and then make a right (following the grey stripes), follow the bend and then there is an elevator bank on the right (follow the purple stripes to the bank)
2. to KCC (Klingenstein Clinical Pavillions)- Three ways to get here. The fastest is via the Guggenheim bridge. A- Start at GP3 (OR level) and travel to the back hallway, east corner and cross the bridge. This bridge takes you to KCC 4N (there are elevators in the center of the building).  B-Start at GP8 (in the back between 8E and 8C). Cross the bridge to Annenberg 7 (OR level) and head left towards KCC, past the OR entrance and the waiting areas to a hallway with vending machines. This bridge leads you to KCC 9.  C- Start at MC level and head towards the MRI suite (gray hallwall), make a left at the blue stripes (across from IR) and follow these stripes past the dialysis center until the MC level of KCC (there are stairs and vending machines). Can take the elevators from this level or travel up the stairs to KCC 1.
3. to the East building, Icahn, Madison 5 (all synonymous) – Madison 5 is the psych unit in Icahn, you’ll find it on the 5th floor of the Icahn building. A- Start on Madison avenue and walk across the street to the Icahn building. B- If its cold or rainy or Hurricane Irene has returned,  you can take the underground passage from the MC level. Head towards MRI and make at left when you reach it. Follow the Orange stripes downstairs and underneath Madison Avenue. You will reach elevators on your right. You will be at the SC level and take this to where you want to go.
4. to FPA - Start at the MC level of GP and follow the “gray hallway”  to MRI. Make a right at MRI and follow the hallway passed Radiology Associates and the KCC building;  Head left with the hall way, down a ramp until you are new hallway that turns left. Follow this hallway until the elevator bank for FPA (on your left).
5. to Dialysis - MC level, middle hallway as if your headed to MRI, and then you’ll see a blue stripe. Make a left as if you were heading to the KCC building but make a sharp left and walk parallel to the main MC level “gray” hallway (heading back towards GP in this new hallway). You will see an entrance to the B-level Dialysis.
6. to NSICU:  Start in GP on the 8th floor. Take the annenberg bridge and walk to the seventh level of Annenberg. Take the stairway on the right or the elevator banks in front of you to the 8th floor. The NSICU is at the northwest end of the building (under where we have Morning Report during recruitment).
7. to Radiology/IR/MRI – MC level of GP, behind West Elevators for Rads, in front of elevators to Peds building for IR, and down the main hall for MRI.
8. to Nuclear Medicine - MC level of GP on the west side the opposite end of the hallway to the ED (directly under Ruttenberg)
9. to Peds/Endoscopy- Two ways. A) Start on MC level and take the hallway towards the Annenberg escalators. Directly across from the entrance of the escalators, you will see a hallway that has yellow stripes. Take this to the main peds elevators. Endoscopy is on the 7th floor. B) You can also take the Annenberg bridge on GP 8 and walk West on Annenberg 7 (the floor you arrive on), then take the stairway near the Anneberg 7 PACU/OR on the western hallway of the building to Annenberg 6. You will see a waiting room on Annenberg 6, across from the waiting room is the bridge to the Peds building– the bridge will take you to P7 (endoscopy).
10. Ruttenberg- 1st level of GP across from Starbucks near the 5th Avenue entrance.
